The Mourvedre fruit comes from the hillside block of our estate vineyard. The hillside planting helps concentrate the flavor and aromas in the small berries. Mourvedre's late ripening nature allows it to experience plenty of sunlight. The resultant wine is rich in aromas of black cherry, cassis, and mushrooms. The silky tannins and judicious use of oak lead to a touch of minerality and chocolate in the long-lasting finish. Try this rare wine with a grilled portobello mushroom burger for a truly grounding experience!
