The Mourvèdre fruit comes from the hillside block of our Estate Vineyard. The hillside planting helps concentrate the flavor and aromas into the small berries. Mourvèdre's late ripening nature allows it to experience plenty of sunlight. This resulting wine is rich in aromas of black cherry, cassis, and mushrooms. The silky tannins and judicious use of oak lead to a touch of minerality and chocolate in the long-lasting finish.
